Unfortunately, Manitoba highways are quite poor. I can always tell when I've arrived back in Manitoba by the quality of the highways.

Driving on the highways yesterday, I've noticed motorists giving cyclists the full lane (where paved shoulders do not exist). Though, I do not know how long that will go on for -- this sobering incident can only last for so long before drivers forget and drive more carelessly.
