That was a good move you made drinking out of the bottle so they could see you weren't trying to hurt their dog. We have a neighbor with a pair of Maltese Terriers, whick I would call Toto dogs. The male sometimes comes to our house and barks through my fence at my sons 80 lb. bull dog. One evening a couple of weeks ago a fox ran across our yard and the neighbors and the Maltese ran out and barked at it. Lucky for him the fox just kept going. I think the foxes like cat better than little dog anyway.
