Noleen/Girvin was purchased by ProFlex around 1996 (I think). K2 then bought ProFlex around 1998/1999. The fork line carried on until about 2002. Newer K2s use aftermarket forks. The cross-link forks were excellent cross-country forks and they had enough travel to possibly be considered for light-freeride and light-downhill. However, their main claim to fame was their ultra-precise steering... almost too precise and twitchy for some applications. They tracked as well as a rigid fork.
