Wrong-Way eBikes

After reading the ebike thread earlier, I started looking at some of the YouTube videos about electric bikes. Almost all of the people riding them were doing really stupid s**t -- sidewalks really fast, wrong side of the street, curb-hugging then whipping out around parked cars...

If people are going to ride electric bikes at 35 MPH and above, especially people w/o very good skills or knowledge, we're going to see a lot more dead cyclists on the news. I can see some great advantages in setting up one of these and an xtracycle -- like being able to go on long rides and having the wife ebike a long dragging the kids... so I'm not a hater or anything... but people need to recognize.
