That is the problem I have with ebikes. A beginning rider is usually limited by fitness to a lower speed (excluding down hills) and as they acquire fitness and gain speed, they gain experience and knowledge as well. With an ebike, the rider skips straight to the end-going fast, bypassing the months (years?) of experience gained by riding.
