I've been using a Headsweats shorty this spring and summer. My helmet must have been a bit too large, since it fits perfectly with the Headsweats. If you can't fit one with your helmet, a bike cap won't work either.

It does seem to soak up the sweat. I get much less dripping in my eyes now. And it's good when the weather is cold, too.
