If you all will hold this thread until Monday or Tuesday, I'll try to have the bike in the garage and specs and details. If I lend her my Cinelli to ride in the meanwhile, I'll get it done quicker, I'm sure.
After that, advice will likely be solicited and most welcome. I think I can lighten it some, and at the minimum, remove some bike shop stickers and make it shiny happy again.
My goal is to have her think of it as a new bike, or decide I deserve first crack at it if she ever sells it.
I don't think it's been gone through since well before she bought it.
My fee will be the look on her face after that first ride on a tuned, lubed, clean and happy ride.
Plus, my UO-8 mixte is calling me to unpack and get crackin. The parts are in, just need the time, and Peugeot experts are just a click away.
