And then you bring it across the border wherence you get taxed 13%. And you lose the ability to go to your LBS for warranty service. Unless you know how to do your own work and have the tools, in which case it's moot.

So you then have less than $170 to play around with, assuming it costs you nothing ot get there and back + time spent. Given the right circumstances it would be cheaper to go across the border.
