I found it!!!

BB Cups- I got a set of the cups from First Flight Bikes. They are Sakae thick walled cups. They bring the bearings in a good 3mm compared to the original French cups. The original cups will not work with regular bearings, because the spindle won't fit. They are $15 ($22 shippped).

Bearings- Standard open cartridge bearings for various cranksets. LBS has tons. $3.

Spindle- A Specialized micro-crank spindle (52mm race width, 68x115), available at Rivendell for only $12. ($20 shipped UPS ground)

Total- $45

Of course, if you buy this stuff in bulk with lots of other items, you can save on shipping.



When assembled, it will accomedate any modern square taper Shimano crank, and a BB shell width of 67-70mm. So, if you have a 68mm shell, you're in the house!!!
