Broke my right femur very badly in an accident November 2006. I doubted if I could ever resume my active pre-accident lifestyle, but luckily my baby brother is an M.D., and he gave me two essential advice, which worked tremendously to get me back to my pre-accident active lifestyle.

Firstly, he told me "no self-pity" of any kind. Never ever ask, why me? he said; and he also told me to work my tail off in rehab. He said to me, the post-accident quality of life I am gonna have, is directly related to the hard work I put in at rehab. My rehab was tough, as I asked the PT to work me real hard. I am glad I did all that hard work, and there is no doubt in my mind that the rehab, apart from the surgeon who set the bones, was key

Best of luck to you.
