You probably don't know **** about maintaining bikes if this is happening and especially if you don't know what it is, so go to a bike shop and ask them to give your bike a good once over.
that's probably exactly what it is, cause i just swapped to a new cog a couple days ago. I hope i didn't strip anything out...
