The fact is that cyclists are obviously doing something to piss enough drivers off. Lets step back a moment and realize that a lot of the time, cyclists do hog the road, like not riding single file.

This of course is not grounds for road rage, but people need to realize that there are a lot of mentally disturbed people out there, who can be set off by just about anything.

Just remember that "sharing the road" does not mean we own it. Its use is still designed predominantly for cars.

Flipping the bird, etc. doesn't really help anyone, even though I admit I have done it on more than one occasion, but I try not to anymore, because of reasons just like this.
