You know there was a HUGE quit smoking campain that seemed to flood the market in Columbus Ohio and then the city went all non smoking. I think that if a large campain happened for biking people would understand the rules better or at least be more aware. Maybe if the local news stations had biking segments peoples attitudes would change somewhat. I just feel that biking needs to be more mainstream to make changes.
I totally agree and have been saying this for years now using the exact smoking analogy. When I took drivers ed for example I don't remember one single mention of bikes and the laws that surround them. Education goes a long way.
