Running at 370 isn't going to be easy no matter what. It's also going to be tough on your body, so take it easy. I started out with months of walking and eased into a job walk combo over quite a few months. As you get lighter the running will become significantly easier.
Word. I love running, used to run 6 miles nightly when I was 17.... it sad to see how far I've fallen in the past five years, but I suppose losing all this will be more of an accomplishment than all that running ever was. I can't wait to start again, but I won't run until I drop below 250... even then, I'd be worried about my knees a bit. You're a brave man running at 370, and I wish you the best of luck!
I might give a tri a shot next year, they sound kind of fun, or at least challenging
