You know how you made drip-castles when you were a kid? Taking totally wet sand and squeezing it in your fingers until drops fell out and made big melt-y looking towers? That is kind of how the pavement looks in the bike lane near my apartment.

I don't know whether to complain about things like that (including all the grates and sewer lids on the MUP) because it makes it sound like bikes are more infrastructure high-maintenance than cars.
