The two commuter bike quiver: what do you ride?
I am using a lower cost commuter bike that is reliable, comfortable and isn't afraid of the rain. It's not a road bike and some days I wish I was on something with a little more speed and excitement.
I'm considering a lighter & faster road bike with a steel frame as a fair weather commuter & weekend road bike. I would use the road bike on those days when traffic is a little lighter and the weather is conducive to faster riding. The low cost touring bike would still see duty on days when the weather and traffic are less than ideal.
Do you use more than one commuter bike?
