I did add new DK magnesium Iron Cross pedals, which I only put on because I ordered by mistake (I wanted black ones).

wow, that brings back the memories. I've taken something of a nap for about 6 years, so it's good to see some of the stuff I remember. I have a good friend who had a Girvin fork.

I've got the old school stuff, too. (well, not counting the '92 Trek 830) '95 Klein Attitude (yep, MC2 stem/handlebar combo). Bought a Carbon Judy XC (carbon legs), Kooka levers, AVID brakes, Grip Shift X-Rays, Suntour XC front derailleur, and Proshift rear derailleur. Syncros aluminum seat post and Selle Flite saddle. Richey Titanium clipless pedals. I was in the "weight race" at the time with the owners of the LBS (bad mistake for me! good for them ). Anyway, got it down to 20.5 lbs with "stock" XT cranks and chainrings (still have them). Oh, and I have Mavic M231 rims, DT revolution spokes (originally the FiberFlite carbon fiber spokes), and NukeProof hubs.
