Alex makes really poorly built wheels. Spoke tension inconsistent, etc. I had AT400s on my Allez and broke my first spoke after 800 miles. Broke 3 more over the next 400 miles. Alex's ALX series is better but still not great.
I still wouldn't replace them until they break. If they don't break, they don't need to be replaced.
