I'm surprised that anyone would try to rank anything exclusively on the basis of appearance. You'd probably prefer a old MG to a Ferrari 460. Taste is very personal and very much a slippery slope. Don't get me wrong: I'd love to have a Richard Sachs bike but I might well be dead by the time I got it. On the point of appearance I'm not too impressed by his very conservative paint jobs these days. Factor in ride factors and a Sachs would be a tough choice as an only bike unless you've got a great engine or you enjoy being dropped.
