I just won a Centurion Le Mans on Ebay for $140.00 and use it as my daily commuter. It's an '89 with Tange #2 tubing and Shimano Exage sport grouppo. I think the wheels are Araya 700 series with a 36 spoke configuration. I've also got the 12 speed, downtube shifters. It's my understanding that they were designed in the US and manufactured in Japan. I initially intended to build it as a single speed but like it so much the way it is I think I'll scrap that idea. In fact, although it only cost about 1/12th that of my other bikes, it may well be my favorite as it spins and handles extremely well.
