I've only had the bike for 6 weeks (and was on vacation 2 of those) and I'm up over 400 miles and while I've learned a lot from all of you sometimes I think I'm the only "slow" rider here. Don't some of you ride hybrids too?
I'm riding an older Gary Fisher Tassajara hardtail mtb with street tires I got to commute on. There seems to be a pretty good mix of rides on here. Though I just whined on another post about being blown away by a roadie the other morning, I believe the important thing to remember is that we're getting off our duffs and RIDING, no matter the speed. I'm loving my new bike and seem to be consumed with riding again after years away from pedals! Welcome aboard from another newbie!
