I just sold a set of Sugino Maxy (Maxy, not Super Maxy) cranks on ebay for $72. They were in nice shape, but the 165 mm crank arm length seems to have done it. Is the demand for anything and everything that can be used on a fixed gear really that high? Seems ridiculous to me, or am I missing something?
From watching Ebay crank sales, my impression has been that the track types (not necessarily fixie types) favor, and pay handsomely for cranks with a BCD of 144 mm, typically 170 mm in length, especially if bearing the NJS stamp. What was the BCD on your Suginos? Dis they have a NJS stamp?
