Bikes: See Signature...

My ProLink opinion...

Ok so a week ago I went into a store looking for a "dry" lube for my road bike that was an oil, not wax (i use ice wax for my mountain bike...until i run out of it...). The guy had Prolink and something else I dont remember the name of now. He could not personally recommend the prolink because he had no personal experience, but a guy who was there (im assuming a friend of his) spoke right up and said as long as you wipe off excess and let dry for a while, its great...OK $7.99 a bottle I figure ive wasted money trying worse stuff before...cleaned chain, applied the stuff twice (just to make sure i got all the links good...

fast forward to today, first ride out with the bike. 10 miles on backroads that are dirty/dusty. chain looks CLEAN! all other oils ive used one ride would lead to a black chain. Not anymore. My SRAM chain is still shiny (full nickel plated version) and well oiled. Im sold on the product, and once Im out of icewax and replace my MTB chain, ill use this on ALL of my bikes.

Just thought id share my personal experience. I know its only 10 miles, but the chain is still clean. Makes my bike look a lot nicer!
