I have friends who ride BD bikes, and they're pretty nice rides. Two of 'em got the upper-spec 29ers, and one who has a couple of the high-end roadies. All are nice looking, and riding, bikes that the owners are very happy with. These bash posts are just plain ridiculous, IMO. A bike is a bike, why don't some of you stop being elitist and just welcome the guy?

What I find amusing is that if this post would have been about a low-end LBS bike, everyone would have been like "yeah, awesome! Welcome to the commuting life!"
