In the OP's posts I see unrealistic demands being expected from members of the general public on bikes.

Ok I'll post it again.

The warning advice is posted in the state pamphlet. You can order one from the CT Region Council of Governments Connecticut Bicycle Coalition. Obviously I am not the first one who has been startled...


This warning block on that well written pamhlet is posted right above the "Always ride with lights at night". The other rider also had no headlight, which may have contributed to the situation. He did have a taillight. but by state law, a headlight is required, (I have two headlights).

It's so easy to jump on the bashing wagon, but if I can help just one rider out there avoid a collision, even in Oregon, wherever, it's worth my weeding through all your name-calling and assault.
