Sachs bikes certainly have their own aesthetic beauty (never ridden one so I can't speak for the ride quality), but so do Vanillas and Della Santas and Bob Jacksons and Don Walkers and Landsharks and Strongs and Kirks and, for me, even those darn factory built Waterfords — I'm personally lusting over an RS-22 from them.

To each his own, as long as people are riding the darn thing and think it is beautiful in their own eyes.

As a small business of one, Richard's got the right to cap the queue whenever he wants. He obviously feels long-term he can garner enough business from existing clients, while building up enough new customers with the cut-off date, that he'll have enough work till he wants to hang up the welder.

Of course, if that flops, he can always re-open the queue in the future. Smart move I say.
