Oh my! I thought that was why we all rode. Maybe its different for others, but coming in off of a ride puts a spring in my step, shrinks my work worries to the size of fleas, puts my life and relationships into proper persepctive, motivates me to work/love/play with joy.
Then I take a nice snooze on the couch.
I get much the same effect from freestyle Nordic in the winter months.
Time passes at a different rate. Its a Zen thing. Time spent on the bike must not count against your alloted time on the planet.
