You haven't been reading your Pamphlets very well have you?

If you read the Mass Bike Pamphlet that outlines the state law you would have seen this:


You may not use a siren or whistle on your bike to warn pedestrians.

Figured I'd do a quick check of CT state law (as pertains to bikes):
