Brilliant! But knowing me, I'd go for an emergency stop and reach for the lever thinking it's a brake and instead ring a bell before I smash into the fender of a 1982 Cadillac Supreme.
It'd be funny if some one who rode brakeless did this and if his bike ever got stolen the thief would grab the lever and hear the sound of a bell taunting him as he crashes.
