Keep in mind you're tlaking to ABH - our local retro grouch. He doesn't believe that any rider needs clipless pedals either.

BTW - ABH - I was thinking about that just 2 days ago when I showed up to my race with 2 different shoes and couldn't clip in on the right side. I was able to hook the cleat on the pedal, but pulling up was impossible. I took the start and thought to myself, "according to ABH I shouldn't have any issues - I mean he says we don't really pull up on the pedals anyway."

After practially killing myself coming out of 2 turns I retired.
