Sachs is a well known craftsman. He currently employs a style of manufacturing (IIRC) called craft manufacturing...for a reason.

There isn't much of a point in bashing the guy for the way he chose to run his business.

That said....there are many bikes in this world. My favorite tends to be the one I am riding.

...and what's wrong with mass-produced bikes? What makes the sweat of the poor little asian kid with 3 fingers any less valuable than the sweat of Richard Sachs? I mean...Richard could never get the carbon layup into all those nooks of the mold. It takes little hands....special little hands...
