I believe the Super LeTour 12.2 used 27" tires. Unless a model came out later than the ones I know about.

700c tires are around 29" in diameter but only for the extremely large tires, used on the newer mountain bikes referred to as 29ers.

EDIT: The "24 inch bike" probably refers to the seat tube length
