i popped a back spoke today throwing my back wheel off true, so i unlatched the back brakes. I almost ended up in traffic 3 times in the 12 miles home. Once i ended up flying out of the seat and smashing my mommy-daddy button on my handlebar stem.
Ok, I can see almost getting run over a few times, but when you start injuring the equiptment time to walk safely on the sidewalk, pushing the bike. Or phone home.
