Today my shoulder problems were getting worse to the point that I couldn't lift or move my arm, so I went to the doctor and got x-rayed. No breaks, but if things don't improve I'll have to get an MRI next week.

I talked to her dad again today with updated costs. He seemed to get a bit frightened when I mentioned the shoulder stuff, but was quite friendly. Probably worried that I'll sue. I'm not at all interested in doing that, of course.



It sounds like my poor bike (the real victim here) will take about $500 to repair with a new fork and new front wheel. Everything else, mercifully, is fine. I think this will turn out ok, although I am probably not going to be biking for a month or so.
