I did this last week after I put slicks on a mountain bike. I left both brakes unhooked and had to Flinstone myself to a stop. Luckily I noticed before I got off the driveway.
Yea, catching it by the end of the driveway aint that dumb. Thinking your pads are wore out for 3-4 rides to and from work is just dumb. I do think I have beat myself up enough over it. Everytime I think I am smart I do sompun stoopid.
