The Imperial was the ultimate in comfort for this ride. 90+ scorching degrees out when the sun was high in the sky, and aside from offering the relief from any nerve pressure, that cutout adds some extra breathability to the saddle.
Hands: still kinda hurt.
Feet: 3 toes on each foot were numb for 2 days
Shoulders: still pretty sore.
Behind: can't even tell I spent 13.5 hours on the bike.
Gotta second this. I also did the 1 day STP, changed out my Team Pro on my Vanilla to the Imperial at the last minute. The only time I even noticed or thought about my saddle was showing it to other riders at the stops and lauding its comfort. I went out Monday and did a good 20 mile hill workout and had no lingering soreness in the saddle region from the STP. Now I'm considering using it for the Crater Lake Century and the Cycle Oregon this year, even though I like the aesthetics of my Team Pro and Swifts better. This is one damn comfortable saddle. Any saddle you can forget about being on after 207 miles is good stuff.
