Look on the headbadge for a stamped code of 4 numbers. The last digit is the year and the first 3 digits are the day it was made. I have 2 Super Le Tour 12.2 - both 1977. They read xxx7 on the head badge.

If I remember correctly 1978 was the last year the Super Le Tour 12.2 was made.
