disagree--- it is much easier drafting a bus at 60 kph with a geared bike. It is much easier flying down a huge hill on a road bike. How hard is it to control a road bike?

I like a fixed gear for commuting due to its simplicity of maintenance, and the fact that I don't want to lock up an expensive road bike... and frankly it is more "fun" riding fixed.
