Now I really don't care what you people who never break a rule think about that or what I deserve for doing that. I often wonder why any traffic light is red when there is no traffic. Automobiles are needlessly buring thousands, maybe even millions of gallons of gasoline each year, sitting at red lights with no traffic.
If that is what you did in this case and you talked to the officer with respect and you don't look like some kind of punk freak then I agree the officer was a bit over zealous but still doing his job. He probably should have just given you a warning. Maybe you caught him on a bad day and your running the right was just enough to put him over the edge.
Go to court, be respectful, dress nice, cut your hair, apologize, explain the situation and the judge at worst will reduce the charge where you have no points.
To be honest if you took the same attitude with the cop as you did with some of the forum members, I would have written you a ticket too. Take that attitude into court and the judge just might come up with a few new charges and have you tossed in jail. If you did not want people's honest opinion then you should not have posted.
