I don't believe the Swift is good for multi-modal commuting. The Mu P8 should be better for that. Both bikes are good, but for different purposes.

The Swift has a lot of fans amongst folks that want the closest thing to non-folding bike. The Dahon is more or less a typical Dahon bike. It folds to a decent size and is rollable (with handlebars up).
