I know, not having to stop that momentm from the drive train makes a respectable difference. In my few emergency stop with front only it was definitely part of the blood freezing feeling when you don't know if you're quite going to stop in time, before losing traction on the front, rear in the air, then you feel the kick forward when you stop the rear wheel. That kick could put someone slower or unaware over the top.
