I plan on upgrading my current bike around December/January, so I'll be able to pickup an '08 model cheaper, right now I can get a brand new one for $1,000 (full ultegra) but I'd still like to pay a bit less. I searched on Cervelo's website but I can't seem to find the weight of the cervelo solist, so if someone could help me on that too.
Is that a complete Soloist Team bike for a grand? If so, that's pretty cheap -- the frames alone sell on Competitive Cyclist for $1100

Bike weight is mostly determined be whatever you put on it. My 2007 58cm alu Soloist frame is 1414g, totally bare (no fork, no bolts, no head-set, no post, nothing), so you can go from there
