Not sure how all of this works, but I recently bought off craigslist a mongoose manuever that had been converted to a comuter. The guy bought it from an LBS (sticker still there), but now I see that WalMart sells the mongoose manuever. Looks totally different (mine was a rigid frame), but it seems kind of weird in light of your comments.
