Just getting a list of roads with an elevation over 2K feet wouldn't be much of a use at all. You would have roads from WV, TN, CA, CO, etc. all mixed together. Trying to put a ride together off the list would be nearly impossible.

It is better to pick a region with google maps, maps.google.com, switch to the terrain view, and pan to an area with lots of varied terrain. As you zoom in, the elevation ranges will be displayed. You could then pick a route that traverses the highest elevations in the area.
