i already made a pretty obvious dent in the thing from using the vice - even strapped it in there with the axle-holder, but it dented anyways. so basically i made a decently bent part into a now nearly-worthless part by way of the dent. well ****. at least i learned something.

and i know all that about the freewheel vs. freehub, but the thing is that this is a BULLSEYE wheel, very nice classical sweet ride type thing. i wanted to salvage it. now i got to trash it. oh well, easy come easy go (i found it in the trash!). but if freewheels are so crappy than why does Phil Wood still use them?
