Hopefully your friend has been taught an important lesson, when you go through a red you aren't only risking your own life but others too.
ya im sure he did, he also said somebody's side mirror caught his elbow...luckily it didnt pull him down ! that stuff is scary but its expected from crowded city. i too have learned from a friends lesson.
