Hmm, that's a good question. I definitely don't clean my chain and cassette nearly as often as you. I clean them about once a month or twice a month if they look realllly nasty.

I usually put a drop or so on every link, and sometimes I go over them twice if I forget where I started just so everyone is happy. I probably apply it once a week.
