Obviously, marriage is a compromise ..... but the bulk of the married people I know don't have any idea how to compromise. They are always hiding information from their mate. I don't want to do that.
Word to that. Before reading this and a few other threads, I had no idea so many couples kept separate accounts. It's about as logical to me as having separate bedrooms. Got to wonder how much this independence-at-all-costs thought process factors into the 50% divorce rate.
