I have owned many sets of wheels with hubs form White Industries, DT Swiss, Shimano (DA), and Campagnolo (both Record and Chorus). Hands down the smoothest and best rolling hubs have been the Campy. The DT Swiss were the lightest but the Campy hubs were virtually perpetual motion machines.
