Is your point simply the aesthetics of track frames and how people dress them up for road use? If so, this is all starting to make sense. If this is about function, then seriously, educate us all about why track bikes offer a superior ride for fixed road use.
No. I asked for a pic because I suspect those of you who sided for conversions did so because that is what you ride. A picture would confirm this for me.
Look, I am not trying to insult you or anyone else who rides a conversion. This thread has answered the questions I had which is what prompted me to start it in the first place. I think that if a person wants to set up a bike to ride with a fixed gear, he should use a frame with track ends. Period.
